Dr. Christoph L. Heger-Bismark studied industrial engineering, specialising in mechanical engineering, at the universities of Braunschweig and Linköping (Sweden). He worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Factory Systems and Logistics at Leibniz University in Hanover and received his doctorate in engineering in 2006.
During his subsequent activities in industry, he was responsible for production and logistics at a globally active medical technology company and was managing director of a medium-sized company in the commercial vehicle industry. During his activities, he managed and was responsible for various planning and implementation projects for reorganisation and new planning for production and logistics areas as well as for complete factories.
Mr. Heger-Bismark has particular expertise in the areas of strategic planning, operations management, process management, lean management, project management and the adaptability of factories.
