Dr. Tobias Heinen studied industrial engineering with a focus on production technology at the universities of Hanover, Halle/Saale and Port Elizabeth (South Africa). He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Factory Systems and Logistics at Leibniz University of Hanover and received his doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) in 2011. He is a lecturer at Leibniz University of Hanover on the subject of “Sustainability in production”.

Special expertise in the fields of factory planning and implementation as well as production logistics. He also focuses on strategic energy management and energy efficiency. Project experience inter alia for Forbo Siegling, the Harting Technology Group, the Hettich Group or Stüken. International project experience i.a. for the Sartorius Group in the UK, France and Finland.
