The customer’s production in Finland grew generically and was carried out in a very cramped environment. Because enormous growth rates were still being aimed for, it was perspectively impossible to operate in the existing structures in the future. Therefore, the goal was to implement a concept for a new location as a green-field site.
“What I liked most about the work with GREAN is that they had many new ideas. We are very happy to work with these guys and are convinced that the quality of the results we have achieved lies very much on GREAN’s shoulder.”
The overall objective is to develop a concept for a green-field site. The general conditions, which result among other things from the complexity of the products and the high innovation rate, require in particular close coordination between the development and production areas. Therefore, a concept was developed how a close coordination between these areas becomes structurally, organizationally and spatially possible.
In detail, the following services were provided:
-
Derivation of design features of the new factory
-
Development of a coarse concept for the production areas
-
Development of a communication concept for the coordination between development and production
-
Development of an implementation plan
