Project management for the planning of a lean, changable production plant
In 2011 the Hubert Stüken GmbH & Co. KG decided to plan a new production plant in order to consistently pursue its continuous growth path. The aim was to plan and build a new factory on a total area of 11,000 square meters. GREAN took over the project management in the planning of this lean, changeable production plant. The tasks included the coordination of the participating specialist planners for electrical equipment and building services engineering with the architect as well as the integration of the in-house planning groups.
First of all, the new areas had to be allocated and planned conclusively. This included office, logistics, warehouse and production areas. GREAN took over the coordination of the internal planning groups, set up a project management and steered the project internally and externally. After completion of the concept phase, the entire implementation was supervised, the correct implementation monitored and the start-up was accompanied. GREAN remained involved in the project until production reached the previously set targets.
The following services were provided in detail:
- Supporting the client in designing lean production processes
- Project management with coordination of internal and external planning partners
- Support in the development of structure, layout and logistics concepts
- Development of a relocation plan
- Client representation
